NEW YORK -- Yarn Sales Corp.'s primary proceeds, as the name implies, come from selling yarns as a spinners' representative. But a much smaller operation for the company--selling novelty yarn components to spinners--is expected to post record revenues next year because of increased demand for novelty yarns in 2008.
As the New York Knitting Yarn Fair approaches (Sept. 10-12), Yarn Sales President Charles Battaglia notes that this yarn component business will ride the wave of increased interest in novelties.
